Jurong west new town is the largest new town in the western part of Singapore. The total area of jurong west new town is around 9087 kilometer square of which 4.80 kilometer square are residential area having a population of 211000. In English is commonly said as jurong west and in the local languages like Malay and Tamil. A section of pioneer Road North was built to connect upper Jurong Road and even now, the area is served by Pan Island Expressway, which is the oldest and longest in Singapore.

1. The buyer must be a Singaporean citizen with a family nucleus and must also comprise of at least another permanent resident at Singapore.
2. To buy a 2-room flat, the buyer's gross monthly income must not exceed S$2,000.
3. To buy a 3-room flat, the buyer's gross monthly household income must not exceed S$3,000.
4. To buy a 4-room or bigger flat, the buyer's gross monthly household income must not exceed S$8,000.
5. If the buyer is buying a flat with his extended family, then his gross monthly household income must not be more than $12,000.
